The Swiss coffee giant wanted to link its brand to the Berlinale film festival. What better way than to apply their successful Nespresso Atelier concept to the German capital?
Over five days, about 150 daily invited guests had the chance to experience meals exclusively created for Nespresso by top chefs and to participate to coffee oriented workshops.
A lot of effort was put into choosing a location that would represent the urban and alternative soul of Berlin, something completely accomplished by setting up the Atelier in an old factory with a rough style that welcomed guests with graffiti. Around 700 highly selected guests had the chance to participate to breakfasts, lunches and dinners in addition to the 15 organized workshops.
One of the location’s rooms, the owner’s private loft, was used as showroom for the brand new coffee machines that were presented in preview to the press. Apart from supporting Nespresso in realizing the Atelier, we also collaborated on the logistics surrounding the distribution of the coffee machines and capsules that were scattered around the city in the Berlinale locations.
